At some point during our first year in the house, we decided to expand our kitchen into the laundry room. From there, we spent a lot of time pouring over design blogs and magazines, trying to decide what kind of counter tops, kitchen, etc., we wanted. When we had decided, we planned a special trip to Ikea in Utah to get counter tops, sink, faucet, and cabinets. Even flying to Utah and renting a moving truck to haul it all back, we still saved a ton of money. Yeah for Ikea! The day of the big shopping trip was July 5th.
And on July 10th, Kurt started his demolition!
